Senior Electrical Engineer

This is a multidisciplinary firm in Dallas, TX, offering services in architecture, design, and structural engineering for over 30 years.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects for residential and commercial buildings.
• Perform load calculations, schematics, equipment selection, and system design for electrical distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and more.
• Design communication systems, AV, security access, and structured cabling.
• Write construction specifications and analyze client design proposals.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and coach project teams.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Visit construction sites and review shop drawings as needed.
• Maintain project schedules, track progress, and manage costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• LEED accreditation and project management experience are assets.
• 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in consulting engineering.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Effective communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
