Senior Electrical Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is looking for Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the industrial design for single and multi-discipline projects for low voltage Industrial power distribution systems.

This is a direct hire opportunity in Cincinnati OH, or Cedar Rapids Iowa or Chicago.
Responsibilities:
 

• Provide Leadership, mentorship, guidance to team
• Execute electrical engineering design scope for single and multi-discipline projects while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Perform the Lead role as assigned.
• Ensures quality and technical accuracy of their own project deliverables including calculations and design effort to prepare deliverables.
•  Ensure engineering schedule and budget objectives on assigned projects are met
• Self performs design of low voltage (600 and below) industrial power distribution systems.
• Design of medium voltage (MV) power distribution systems, including the selection, specification, and incorporation of MV equipment.
• Perform short circuit/arc flash/coordination and load studies.
• Self performs the specification and design modification, including single lines and layout
• Self performs the design of cable tray and conduit systems and the specification of low voltage distribution equipment.
• Interfaces with client

Required:

• BS Electrical Engineer
•  10 plus years of Electrical Designer
• Autocad, Revit, EasyPower, SKM Software
• Good Written and Oral communications skills
• Industrial Electrical codes and Industrial Power Distributions Equipment
• Field exposure to various manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or institutional environments
