We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships, generating fee proposals, and establishing project scopes.

Responsibilities:
- Independently design and draft building engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, plumbing, and fire protection, ensuring projects are code-compliant.
- Develop and maintain electrical systems for buildings, transport systems, and power distribution networks.
- Possess thorough knowledge of current building codes, engineering design practices, and design and drafting tools.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior and senior designers and engineers.
- Effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Apply logical thinking to solve a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Handle a variety of abstract and concrete variables in complex situations.
- Work on projects across diverse fields including residential, corporate, commercial, institutional, governmental, industrial, healthcare, religious, athletic, educational, and entertainment.
Requirements:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Proficiency in REVIT
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
- Valid drivers license
- Familiarity with building codes and engineering design practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED Certification
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with a friendly demeanor
- Enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities
- Excellent self-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
