Senior Electrical Engineer

Hybrid | Albany, NY or Meriden, CT | 3 Days a Week Onsite

Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team! The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead, organize, manage, and execute electrical engineering work within one of their current project portfolios.

Responsibilities

The Senior Electrical Engineer's responsibilities will include client relations, project management, internal team coordination, contractor coordination, engineering design, and execution. This is a client delivery position, meaning you will simultaneously have client management and project design responsibilities. General projects that the Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for will include (but are not limited to) electrification, battery electric vehicle charging systems, transit facilities, college and university facilities, and commercial buildings. Some additional responsibilities include:

• Proposal and fee development
• Portfolio and project management
• Engineering design and production
• Training and mentorship to junior employees
• Certifying work as needed
• Professionally sealing project work
  

Requirements

• 15+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in the consulting industry is required
• Excellent understanding of industry standards, regulations, and codes
• Proficient with the use of AutoCAD and Revit
• Proficient in MS Office
• Capable of working independently with minimum supervision

Education/Certification Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is required

Preferred Requirements

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable
• Power distribution experience, including medium voltage system design, is a plus

Compensation Notice

• This role offers an estimated annual base salary range of $120,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and qualifications.
