Core Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement comprehensive global search strategies, encompassing both SEO and SEM, tailored to different geographic markets and cultural nuances.
+ Lead a team of search marketing specialists, providing strategic direction, training, and performance evaluations, while fostering a collaborative global approach.
+ Collaborate with regional teams to ensure content and keyword strategies are localized, culturally relevant, and aligned with local search behaviors.
+ Conduct advanced keyword research and competitive analysis across various markets to identify growth opportunities and optimize search visibility.
+ Manage global SEM campaigns, overseeing bid management, ad copy localization, and landing page optimization to ensure relevance and performance in each market.
+ Monitor and analyze search performance metrics using relevant tools, making data-driven decisions to optimize global strategies.
+ Take a proactive role in increasing internal ownership of search execution, working closely with internal teams to build capabilities and reduce reliance on external agencies.
+ Define and lead the in-housing path for search marketing, establishing a clear roadmap, processes, and training programs to ensure a smooth transition and sustained success
+ Stay current with the latest search engine algorithms, trends, and best practices, ensuring compliance and competitiveness across all markets.
+ Serve on the Global Media leadership team, contributing insights and expertise to inform broader digital media and marketing strategies in a global context.

The Media Activation team at the LEGO Group is a tactical force specializing in driving campaigns across various media landscapes. Committed to continuous optimization and scalability, they expertly manage biddable media, programmatic buying, and SEO tactics, aligning their efforts with broader corporate objectives. The team navigates the complexities of media channels to drive discoverability and optimize media spend. Their success is measured by their ability to implement targeted campaigns efficiently, enhance the LEGO® brand experience across all platforms, and contribute to sustained commercial growth through precise and agile media tactics.
Do you have what it takes?
Relationship Management:
+ Extensive experience managing and nurturing key relationships with global media partners.
+ Proven track record of regular communication, meetings, and negotiations to maintain strong partnerships.
Leadership Skills:
+ Proven leader who is skilled in setting goals, providing guidance, and ensuring team success in managing media partnerships.
+ Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
Strategic Partnership Development:
+ A solid background in identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships.
+ Expertise in understanding partner capabilities, developing tailored proposals, and negotiating agreements.
Analytical Skills:
+ Adept at monitoring and analyzing partnership performance.
+ Proficiency in using data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive commercial impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
+ Proven experience successfully collaborating with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to align partnership strategies with company goals.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional details on this position
+ The salary for this position has a range of $196,200 - $294,300 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
+ If based in Boston, this position will initially be at 10 St. James Ave. in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St. by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
