Title: Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Management Accounting
Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite 4 Days Weekly)
Description:
We are seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Management Accounting to lead the financial strategy and support business operations. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis while managing a team of finance professionals. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, adaptability, and leadership skills to drive financial excellence within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of finance managers, analysts, and event accountants to support business operations effectively.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of management accounting reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
Lead financial processes, including annual planning, quarterly updates, and monthly forecasts.
Partner with leadership to formulate strategic growth plans and forward-looking strategies.
Conduct in-depth analyses of operating results, including P&L reviews and variance analysis against plans, prior periods, and forecasts.
Prepare consolidated budgets, forecasts, and multi-year financial plans, analyzing trends in revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Develop financial models to adjust for changes in currency, economic factors, and operational efficiencies.
Foster a "no surprises" culture, ensuring finance is integral to discussions with financial impacts.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA, ACA, or MBA preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
Experience working within multinational organizations.
Background in the events or hospitality industries.
Ability to lead during periods of significant organizational change.
Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and advanced Excel skills.
Desired Skills:

Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
