About the Job
How you’ll contribute:
- Across one or more clinical stage programs, partner with Program Team Lead (PTL) to generate and deliver best-in-class development timelines on budget, and to outstanding quality. Proactively identify key risks and mitigations.
- In partnership with the PTL, the PM is accountable for timely execution of all program activities on the critical path to delivery of key program and corporate milestones.
- Proactively engage key stakeholders, including the core, leadership, and executive teams, to clearly and concisely communicate internal program issues, formulate a position/strategy, and participate and/or drive the resolution process.
- Facilitate strategic discussions on scenario planning using relevant tools (e.g., decision trees, etc.) to enable core team and governance body decision making.
- Coordinate and lead all aspects of internal program meetings (both in person and virtually), including agenda drafting and documentation of key discussion points, decisions, and action items.
- As needed, support core team members with management of contract research organization (CRO) workstreams across project set in order to maintain development timelines and budget.
- Partner with Finance, Function Heads, and Core Team on budget forecasting.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of project management tools and databases.
What skills and experience you’ll bring:
- 10+ years in biotech or pharmaceutical company, with a minimum of 4 years in a Program Management role
- Advanced degree in scientifically oriented discipline preferred; PMP certification is a plus
- Experience driving and supporting large complex global Ph II or Ph III immunology (or similar size and scope) programs with aggressive timelines
- Experience with filing NDA and/or BLA is strongly preferred
- Must excel, with a track record of success, both at a strategic PM perspective but also as a hands-on team player
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including specifically, the skills needed to manage difficult conversations and interactions as they arise
- Must be able to earn the trust and respect of internal stakeholders while driving initiatives forward and managing through influence
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Project (or similar), visualization tools including PowerPoint and ThinkCell, and other planning/tracking software/platforms
