The Senior Director of Supply Chain Pharmacy Services oversees the organizational approach to Pharmaceutical Contracting, Purchasing and 340B Program compliance. The Senior Director directs site pharmacy directors in minimum performance standards and formulary additions, provides guidelines, processes and internal controls related to all pharmaceutical contracts; the role oversees various quality control functions. Additionally, the Senior Director of Corporate Pharmacy Services serves as a Pharmacy business advisor, gathering market knowledge and assisting in the development of cost management goals and processes on behalf of the organization.

Responsibilities:- Oversees identification and coordination of all new and existing pharmacy contracting and purchasing opportunities at all Orlando Health owned and affiliated facilities.
- Supports pharmacy distribution practices vetted and approved through Pharmacy Council to achieve service line financial and quality goals.
- Assists with the development of cost management opportunities, provides operational and regulatory leadership support to pharmacy programs.
- Leads management of enterprise pharmacy contract portfolio regardless of class or trade.
- Responsible for maintaining relationships and serving as a liaison between GPO, pharmacy suppliers and enterprise pharmacy leadership.
- Responsible for coordinating evidence-based recommendations for drug formulary inclusion and exclusion to the Pharmacotherapy Committee through consultation with pharmacy, nursing, and medical Ensures alignment with Pharmacy Council.
- Responsible for the development, monitoring, and execution of 340B strategy and assuring compliance to Federal.
- Oversees sourcing staff and analysis for custom OH contracts and vendor rebates to fill gaps and increase contract coverage for Orlando Health.
- In collaboration with other supply chain executives and vendor executives, establishes minimum standards for procurement and product utilization analysis approaches.
- Oversees managers, including various personnel functions, including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Establishes and enforces the policy and procedures regarding pharmaceutical vendor access to Orlando Health facilities.
- Enforces vendor compliance with enterprise compliance standards.
- Initiates appropriate action in response to vendor's failure to comply with appropriate policy.
- Promotes a philosophy of open communication throughout the corporation with all stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
- Master of Business Administration degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification
- Must be licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy
Experience
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in hospital pharmacy management, with a healthcare organization similiar in size to Orlando Health, required.
- 340b knowledge preferred.
- Must command thorough knowledge of business management, pharmacy laws, 340B regulations, financial management and purchasing.
