JOB SUMMARY
The New York Center for Research, Economic Advancement, Technology, Engineering and Science Corporation (NY CREATES) is a world-leading R&D, innovation hub and commercialization facilitator in advanced semiconductors. In partnership with Industry, government, and another non-profit entity, NY CREATES is launching an Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography (EUV) Center - a next-generation semiconductor research and development center that supports cutting edge 300mm research and development. The EUV Center consists of NY CREATES current EUV offerings (ASML 3400) as well as ASML's High NA EUV tool that will arrive at the Center in 2026.
The Senior Director of EUV Strategy and Partner Relations will:
- Create and implement NY CREATES' EUV Center program and partnership strategy which will foster public-private, industry collaborations, and academic/workforce development partnerships focused on cutting edge R&D and innovation.
- Set-up and manage a framework with EUV ecosystem partners for collaborative technical road mapping, equipment planning, and direction setting.
- Oversee the EUV partner relationships by ensuring the Center's partners and NY CREATES are achieving the goals and objectives of the programs.
- Act as a liaison on behalf of the program with its internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, and partners, as well as executives and staff members of NY CREATES.
- Facilitate and coordinate the efforts with the NY CREATES senior leadership toward the establishment of the EUV program's project portfolio and evaluate and maintain the program and project financial model, budget, and forecasts.
Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Finally, the Senior Director will work with VP of Technology Strategy and others to engage with CHIPs and other R&D funding opportunities. For example, partnering on initiatives with the other hub locations of the NSTC.
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor technology strategy and development, semiconductor business development, or a related field.
- The candidate should have experience managing others.
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, technology, or related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Dept. of Education or other internationally recognized accrediting institution; Bachelor's degrees in physics, chemistry, or materials science will also be considered.
- The successful candidate will possess at least 10 years of experience in a management role within a large, complex organization that has developed a successful technology portfolio and manufacturing capability.
- Proven success working effectively with a broad array of diverse constituents including senior representatives from business, government and academia is required.
- Demonstrated analytical skills including knowledge of legal, corporate governance, research and global issues
- Outstanding interpersonal, and exceptional oral and written communication proficiency
- The ability to prudently handle confidential and sensitive information;
- Experience with strategic planning and project management are required skill sets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional/matrix teams to achieve the organization's strategic goals.
- Candidates must address in their applications their ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
- This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background investigation; this position may require annual background investigations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with consortia involving semiconductor R&D initiatives.

Salary Range:
Director Level: $180,000- $220,000 annual
Senior Director Level: $225,000- $260,000 annual
*Posted salary rates are determined upon education and experience.
