Job Details
Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, as well as compliance with SEC regulations and other applicable laws.
Team Management and Development: Foster a dynamic and supportive environment within the accounting team, nurturing their skills and capabilities to support the company’s growth journey.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with the CFO and FP&A team to develop financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Internal Controls and Compliance: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors, regulatory bodies, and investors, ensuring transparent communication of the company’s financial status and outlook.
Process Improvement: Drive ongoing assessment and enhancement of financial and accounting processes and systems to optimize efficiency and reduce risk.

Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification is required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a strong track record of leadership in dynamic environments.
- Experience guiding companies through growth phases with a focus on financial stability and strategic decision-making.
- In-depth understanding of GAAP, SEC reporting, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector.
