Major/Essential Functions:
+ Responsible for the overall development, execution, and strategic planning for WLHSDM. Identifies, establishes, tracks, monitors and evaluates departmental goals and objectives regarding business operations, throughout the WLHSDM.
+ Develops the management of operations, budgetary and financial affairs on behalf of the WLHSDM for business operational planning, accommodation, transition, and growth.
+ Responsible to administer business plans with WLHSDM leadership regarding operations, fiscal and budgetary matters.
+ Undertakes complex tasks as assigned by the VP/CFO of Finance and the schools executive team. Attends monthly meetings with CFO regarding operations, fiscal and budgetary management.
+ Develop, monitor and evaluate internal controls and internal policies to compliment TTUHSC El Paso policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of the business operations, fiscal and budgetary management of the WLHSDM.
+ Evaluates that objectives and goals assigned department heads and Directors to ensure completion and compliance with set standards and institutional guidelines.
+ Advise the Dean, Associate Deans and department heads and work collaboratively to envision and implement innovative improvements in the school's financial and administrative strategy.
+ Plan, coordinate, prepare and execute the compilation of all financial reports with regards to various programs and funding under the scope of work of the WLHSDM.
+ Plan, coordinate and direct broad and complex financial management and fiscal management functions for the school regarding, budgetary planning of operational revenues, expenditures, cash receipts, reconciliations, year end closing, and budget prep deadlines.
+ Supervise, delegate, monitors and evaluates the work assigned to and completed by assigned administrative staff in relation to the fiscal management of the school.
+ Ensures that the Dean is updated on a regular basis with a coordinated fiscal plan for effective financial administration and monitors the expenditure of all fund types to ensure that all operate within the approved budgets.
+ Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
+ Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.

+ Minimum of 6 years experience in financial reporting and financial analysis.
+ Collaborative management style.
+ Ability to build effective teams and oversee clerical staff in relation to fiscal management assignments.
