Summary:
The Sr. Director, Commercial Operations will be responsible for providing the link to connect Product & Customer Strategy, Analytics, and Operational needs into pull through via Operational Excellence know-how in order to support an expanding portfolio. This role will create and manage project plans and manage day-to-day interactions with internal Commercial customers, Commercial Analytics & Customer Strategy team members. The incumbent will be expected to deliver within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, as well as complete automation solutions across functional teams.

Benefits:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead Development of Sales Operations inclusive of resourcing, system utility, and end-user applicability to ensure key reporting dynamics & metrics are in place for internal & external users.
- Responsible for building strategic plans and project plans to drive requirements gathering and analysis in order to provide high quality and detailed business requirements that ensure alignment with Commercial end-user needs.
- Oversee implementation of Veeva CRM business requirements and document, manage and implement system change requests via internal resources.
- Support the Sales Operations administrative and project management functions encompassing the build-out and streamlining of Field Sample management and/or Fuel Card maintenance.
- Play a strategic role in support of Marketing and Field Sales conferences, oversight of sales force alignments & execution.
- Function as a team and organizational expert in Commercial Operations inclusive of CRM, BI, and Sales Force operations.
- Plan and establish after go-live activities and ongoing support, including develop and deliver training and support programs for all user groups.
- Manage internal and external resources engaged in the development and support of Commercial Operations activities and systems.
- Maintain industry & application delivery knowledge, objectively understand and evaluate the capabilities of tools and technologies to recommend potential solutions.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, operations or other related fields; Master’s Degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical or related industry with business operations, analytics, field operations, and/or consulting.
- Experience in the hospital segment and with surgical-based products is a plus.
- Prior experience and knowledge of CRM and Business Intelligence application tools and support.

- Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT processes including User Requirements gathering, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts to audiences of varying perception levels.
- Strong knowledge of best practices for user interface design.
- Experience with managing various project management initiatives across a Commercial Operations platform.
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
- Demonstrated understanding in SFDC, Veeva, or other CRM systems; SFDC and Veeva Certified Administrator considered a plus.
- Prior experience managing large scale Commercial, Sales, or Trade/Contracting operations projects and outputs preferred.
