These are some of the R&D Software Engineering contributions you might make to Altium 365: Building new cloud-native applications and scalable infrastructureUtilizing AI and ML to power advanced search capabilitiesLarge-scale data processing; data modeling; holistic, intent-based API designStateful and stateless servers, relational databases, ORM frameworksAltium offers the opportunity to conceive and build new product features for electronics engineers, and add your own ideas to the world’s most collaborative and efficient electronics design platform.A Day in The Life of Our DevOps Engineer:Build and continuously optimize CI/CD process and streamline automation effort for server provisioning and applications deploymentBuild a resilient and scalable service infrastructure to accommodate regionsDeploy, monitor and scale application servicesHave clear and solid relationship with software development departmentsPlan and document work and projectsMentor team members and drive knowledge sharingParticipate in project management and on-going strategic planningWork closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot complex production issuesParticipate in an on-call rotating scheduleWho you are and what you’ll need for this position:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsSignificant cloud ops experience with AWSUnderstanding of securing cloud data and industry standardsPassion to not only build great cloud infrastructure but a great product6+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE environment6+ years of experience of working with Linux and Windows systemsStrong understanding and knowledge of cloud infrastructure components such as AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Storage, Route53 and network appliancesHands-on experience architecting and securing cloud networking such as VPC peering, subnet, security groupsWorking knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab or alternative CI systemsUnderstanding of Active Directory, DNS and DomainFamiliarity with microservice architecture, Docker, KubernetesThe salary range for this role is {$160,000 - $210,000}.
