The Role

As the Senior Development Manager, you will be a key driver of TCN's growth and sustainability. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will secure financial resources, expand our donor network, and manage relationships with funders. You'll collaborate with leadership, the Board of Directors, and external partners to align financial goals with strategic priorities.

What You'll Do
Your responsibilities as Senior Development Manager will include:

• Donor Cultivation: Build relationships with individual and institutional donors, including foundations, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals aligned with TCN's mission.
• Corporate Partnerships: Expand TCN's corporate partnership program by targeting industries like technology, healthcare, and media, and fostering new collaborations.
• Event Sponsorships: Secure funding for major TCN events, including the Annual Conference and Teen Summit, while developing compelling sponsorship packages.
• Major Gift Pipeline: Design and implement donor cultivation activities to strengthen relationships, expand major gifts, and oversee donor recognition programs.
• Proposals and Grants: Craft tailored proposals for corporations, foundations, and individuals; manage timely grant submissions and reports; conduct prospect research for new funding opportunities.
• Collaboration: Partner with the Development Associate and Finance Team to ensure accurate gift processing and donor acknowledgment, and collaborate with internal teams to align development strategies with organizational goals.
• Representation: Represent TCN at Board meetings, external events, and public engagements to promote the organization's mission and priorities.

What You'll Bring to the Team
We're seeking someone who thrives on building relationships and making an impact. The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of fundraising experience with a proven track record in securing significant donations.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with donor management software (e.g., Salesforce) and strong computer skills, including Google Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• You have experience planning and executing fundraising events and sponsorship strategies.
• You're familiar with STEAM education, youth development, or nonprofit program models.
