We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment, with a focus on renewable energy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future of our business, working on high-profile projects and making a significant contribution to the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Development Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the development of renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
2. Working closely with developers, financial developers, and third-party contractors to ensure that all project requirements are met.
3. Overseeing the preparation and execution of construction contracts, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
4. Conducting regular site progress reviews, identifying any potential risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
5. Liaising with subcontractors and field engineering teams to ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications.
6. Preparing and reviewing technical documents, ensuring that all data is accurate and up to date.
7. Working closely with the OSP team to ensure that all project requirements are met.
8. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the renewable energy sector and using this knowledge to inform project development.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Development Engineer role will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on renewable energy.
2. Proven experience working with developers, financial developers, and third-party contractors.
3. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, with the ability to prepare and review technical documents.
4. Experience in field engineering, with a particular focus on renewable energy projects.
5. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and oversee site progress.
6. Strong ability to identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving innovation in this sector.
