Position Title: Senior Development Director
Compensation: Competitive salary range of $110,000-$140,000 with bonus eligibility.
Position Location: Primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings in the Shoreline/N. King/S. Snohomish areas of Washington State.

Reports To: Executive Director, CEO
About the Role:
As a Senior Development Director at our company, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of supporting children and families in need, with a primary focus on our Hope RISING Clinic for prenatal substance exposure (PSE). This position involves building relationships with donors, advocating for additional funding, and overseeing a team dedicated to fundraising, marketing, and development operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with donors, ensuring personalized attention and engagement.
Develop and implement annual plans covering fundraising, marketing, and advocacy efforts.
Collaborate with the board of directors to establish strong relationships with partners and investors.
Provide personalized follow-up reports to financial supporters.
Oversee fundraising campaigns and grant strategies.
Lead departmental planning efforts and implement organizational goals.
Collaborate with the executive team on the organization's Growth & Impact Plan.
Serve as a liaison for outreach, advocacy, and relationship-building efforts.
Develop and refine proposal materials and impact reports.
Advocate for public funding at state and national levels.
Additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with individual, institutional, and corporate fundraising.
Professionalism, confidence, and a passion for the mission.
Strong empathy and ethical standards.
5+ years' experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and organizational development.
Commitment to trauma-informed care practices and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
This role involves a mix of office and remote work, with occasional lifting and extended periods of sitting.
