Senior Product Design Engineer
Requirements
Lead the design, test, and release of new fan and blower coil products
• Establish, manage, and communicate project deliverables
• Understand and comply with safety standard requirements
• Initiate and lead design FMEAs, design reviews, and preproduction builds with multi-discipline development team
• Manage the creation of internal and external design documentation including bills of materials and submittals
• Support the collection and evaluation of product costs
• Support the production of new and existing fan and blower coil products
• Evaluate test data and implement appropriate actions
Qualifications
• Required: B.S. in Engineering (emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong computer-based skills and proficiency with 3D CAD and MS Office applications
• Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry a plus
• Previous experience in product development process
• Understanding of design for manufacturability concepts
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change
• Self-motivated
• Technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
• Strong affiliation with Price's Corporate Values
