Who You Are:
You have a track record of driving business outcomes in production with your models and pipelines and have a strong intuition for why and how certain statistical techniques work for which use cases.
You are very skilled at defining the right objective function & constraints for prediction & optimization systems in order to maximize the business value.
You can switch between the mindset of a researcher and an engineer and know how to iterate models and technology over time.

What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, Economics or a related field
Proficiency in Python and its associated data science frameworks.
Strong intuition for both explanatory & predictive statistical learning techniques.
Familiarity with demand forecasting, assortment optimization, choice modelling, personalization and LLMs.
Experience with data/feature engineering, feature stores and MLOps.
Successful deployment and management of ML lifecycles in production.
At least 3 years of work experience in a data science role.
Key Responsibilities:
Grow the commercial impact of our product portfolio through actionable & accurate predictive insights at large scale.
Research, develop and operationalize pipelines and models to synthesize large, heterogeneous data sets into predictive models.
Own the performance KPIs of deployed models and collaborate with engineers to iterate on data-driven product features.
Generate new ideas for increasing product impact based on empirical research.
Be a thought leader and domain expert for our data and predictive models.
Within Your First Month You Will:
Understand our existing product portfolio, roadmap and growth strategy.
Understand the key technological challenges that will unlock the most value.
Immerse yourself in the data and systems underlying our products.
Define priorities, objectives and timelines for your work over the coming months.
Develop a collaboration model with the team.
Within Your First 3 Months You'll:
Take ownership of your first models in production.
Develop a technical roadmap for our data science initiatives.
Iterate on models & pipelines based on insights from production usage.
Start to interface with clients to refine your domain understanding.

Competitive compensation that includes equity. The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $175,000 and final base salary offer will be based on level of experience and informed by the Company's Career Framework.
