The Role:
Tracking and Technology (T):
We're seeking an individual eager to enhance and optimize our tech stack and tracking systems continuously. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Data/Analytics Engineers, Growth, and Finance teams to enhance subscription data quality and unify data models.
- Partnering with Growth engineers and product managers to implement subscription funnel experiments effectively.
- Offering guidance on Snowplow front-end tracking for our web and mobile app subscription experience.
Analytics and Advice (A):
Our analysts are more than just number crunchers; they're strategic advisors. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and refining subscription-level MRR models to glean insights into user behaviors.
- Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments aimed at understanding user subscriptions, churn, retention, and CLV.
- Creating user-level statistical models to identify potential churn risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with Finance to forecast revenue and diagnose performance against forecasted KPIs.
Communication (C):
At the company, data is our common language, and you'll play a vital role in spreading its understanding. Duties include:
- Establishing a shared vocabulary for metrics and dimensions and educating stakeholders on its usage.
- Actively listening to colleagues to enhance collective data knowledge.
- Educating business stakeholders and fellow analysts on data insights.
- Prioritizing subscriptions and finance analytics projects.

Who You Are:
We're seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Experience in subscription analytics within B2B and B2C SaaS environments.
- Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, BI tools, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with tracking solutions like Snowplow and engineering development processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to answer unstructured business questions.
- Capacity for independent work and collaboration within a team environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Proficiency in our current data tech stack: Snowflake, Hex, Snowplow, dbt, Statsig, Looker.
- Experience working directly with raw payment processing data.

Compensation Range: $130,000 - $150,000
