We are a dynamic team collaborating with a Fortune 30 telecom client, contributing to their Data Sourcing & Performance Management initiatives. Our work revolves around crafting and maintaining robust data structures vital for executive scorecards, dashboards, and customized reports using cloud-based Azure platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, and MS SQL Server.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Snowflake Data Analyst/Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our Data Sourcing & Performance Management team, collaborating closely with the Chief Data Office. Your primary focus will be on resolving production issues, optimizing performance, and driving insights through data analysis and engineering.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and resolve production issues for various cloud-based applications, including Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Provide support for issue resolution, complex data analysis, performance optimization, user story development, and technical & business analysis.
Contribute to data analysis and data engineering efforts for user story development and enhancement.
Collaborate within development sprints and monthly release cycles.
Own end-to-end responsibilities from business requirements and data analysis to pre and post-deployment validation.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, focusing on Snowflake and Databricks.
Proficiency in cloud-based Azure platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, and MS SQL Server.
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot processes and applications effectively.
Ability to communicate effectively the business impact of data analytics.
Experience collaborating with business partners and reporting teams to develop user stories.
Telecom industry experience is advantageous.
Experience handling large datasets, particularly in customer behavior analysis.
Additional Details:
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
