About the Job
- Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will continuously improve and document cybersecurity technology standards, polices and processes
- Reviews and approves all firewall changes
- Performs administrative duties of the companies various Cybersecurity Tools
- Manage incident and event resolution, coordinates communication and reporting
- Evaluates solutions and systems for security vulnerabilities and best practices
- Researches, evaluates, recommends, and deploys cybersecurity-related hardware and software, including developing business cases for security investments
- As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will lead security investigations and compliance reviews
- Develop the appropriate technical and leadership skills to perform strategy, solution architecture, project management tasks, technical design, and analysis in the delivery of these services
- Drive future roadmap of the platform in conjunction with product owners
- Develop multi-functional relationships with development and operations teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields is preferred or equivalent technical experience is expected; Relevant industry certifications preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a security role within an enterprise environment
- Experience with security operations, incident Response and Log Analytics
- Experience with SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) tools preferably Palo Alto XSOAR (Demisto)
- Experience with monitoring and maintaining security in public cloud environments, specifically AWS and Office 365
- Deep knowledge and expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
- Strong technical knowledge of both server and networking infrastructure
- Fluent in scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
- Highly curious and strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-Starter
- Must be able to work well individually as well as with a team
- Ability to be hands-on in management of security tools including deployment and configuration, remediation of incidents
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
