Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Zachary Piper LLC

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer who will support a government contract located in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities for Cyber Security Engineer:

·           Design, implement and maintain complex systems and infrastructure that support business objectives

·           Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation

·           Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems and infrastructure meet security, scalability, and performance requirements

·           Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, including performance and availability problems

·           Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations

·           Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures

·           Develop and implement system monitoring and alerting strategies

·           Mentor and train junior team members

·           Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications for Cyber Security Engineer:

·        510 years of relative experience

·        TS/SCI CI Poly

·        Cyber Security Certification (CEH, CISM, Security Plus, CYSA, Etc.)

·        Experience with Elastic, Ansible and/or Kubernetes

·        Worked with cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

·        Strong Scripting Experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

Compensation for the Cyber Security Engineer:

• $120,000 – $180,000 *Depending on Experience.
