We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cyber Claims Examiner with a strong emphasis on fraud detection and prevention. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cyber insurance policies and be adept at identifying and investigating fraudulent claims. Join our dynamic team and help safeguard our clients against cyber threats and fraudulent activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Evaluation: Assess and process cyber insurance claims, ensuring they meet policy terms and conditions. Analyze claim documentation, including incident reports and forensic analysis.
Fraud Detection: Utilize advanced techniques and tools to identify potential fraudulent claims. Conduct thorough investigations to determine the legitimacy of claims.
Incident Analysis: Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to understand the nature of cyber incidents and the validity of related claims. Review and interpret technical reports and data.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims, investigations, and findings. Prepare comprehensive reports on fraud investigations and outcomes.
Compliance: Ensure all claim handling and investigations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
Communication: Liaise with policyholders, providing clear explanations of claim decisions and the investigation process. Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting and legal, to resolve claims.
Training: Stay updated on the latest trends in cyber fraud and insurance. Provide training and guidance to team members on fraud detection techniques and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Insurance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber claims examination, with a focus on fraud detection and investigation.
Strong knowledge of cyber insurance policies, cyber threats, and incident response procedures.
Excellent analytical and investigative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in using fraud detection tools and software.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CFE, CISSP, CIFI) are preferred.
