About the Job
The Sr Customer Service Representative serves as a liaison in the sales process of precision machined components & assemblies to the company's large enterprise customers. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, as well as preparing sales reports.
Sr Customer Service Representatives also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel.
Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree and or a minimum of 5 years of sales and customer service experience in a relevant field.
Responsibilities- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status.
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Manage customer's on-line site requirements to retrieve & deliver RFQ's. (Portals)
- Proactively manage activities to ensure forward progress and deadlines are efficiently meet.

- Proven work experience as a Sr Customer Service Representative, Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as profit margins, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel.)
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail - Multitasking.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Works well with others.
- Maintain a level head and attitude while dealing with a high stress environment.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
