Job Title: Senior Credit Officer, Commerical Lending
Summary: The Senior Credit Officer, Commercial Lending leads the day-to-day operations of the credit department while communicating with multiple internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the candidate underwrites various credits as needed and acts as a backup to the other analysts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Works with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure the completeness and accuracy of credit packages.
- Assigns loan requests and acts as additional underwriter as needed.
- Works across other lines of business, including lending, loan closing, etc., to identify pain points and find solutions.
- Forecasts loan committee needs based on current pipeline and schedules committee meetings to match.
- Partners with credit officers to identify training gaps and then institute any changes to the credit analyst training assignments.
- Works with analysts to manage career progression and identify potential next roles.
- Prepares various reports on an as needed basis.
- Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Master's Degree in a business-related concentration.
Required Experiences/Skills:
- 10+ years of banking experience preferred.
- Previous experience with SBA or other government guaranteed loans preferred.
- Experience with, or working knowledge of, other lines of business, including, lending, loan operations, account opening, loan closing, and commercial operations.
- Working knowledge of complex lending, financial structuring, and credit arrangements; including transactions which include new market tax credits and historical tax credits, preferred.
- Experience with real estate, construction, and C&I loans.
- Prior experience with a community bank.
- Experience related to financially distressed loans, restructuring and workouts, preferred.
- Knowledgeable in credit write ups
- Financial spreads
- Cash flow analysis
- Previous experience with Sageworks preferred.
