The Shaw Floors Senior Creative Manager is responsible forleading and overseeing the creative vision and direction of the Shaw Floors brand. This role involves managing a team of creative professionals, developing innovative concepts, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality creative assets across various channels. The Senior Creative Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand growth, enhance customer engagement, and elevate the overall visual identity of Shaw Floors.
We’re looking for someone who is detail and task oriented, social, andhighly-motivatedto lead multiple projects at a single time within a fast-paced, innovative, and design-centric organization. They must be able to navigate complexity and communicate effectively, in both written and verbal forms, to a broad group of stakeholders. They need to be passionate about design,creative, process, meeting deadlines, and driving results.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the creative vision, strategy, and process from concept to completion.
Translate marketing objectivesinto clear creative strategies.
Lead and manage a team of internal and external creative professionals, including graphic designers, visual content managers, directors, copywriters, and other creative specialists.
Coach and develop thecreative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Collaborate closely with the Digital, Communications, and Senior Brand Engagement teams to develop and produce creative assets, including print and digital advertisements, packaging, brochures, website graphics, social media content, videos, and other marketing collateral.
Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all creative outputs.
Collaborate with marketing, product, design, and sales teams to understand market trends, customer insights, and business goals, and translate them into impactful creative concepts.
Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintaina competitive edge.
Provide art direction and creative guidance to internal and external teams, ensuring that all creative work aligns with the brand vision and resonates with the target audience.
Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of creative assets to ensure they meet marketing objectivesand drive brand engagement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within the flooring or building materials industry.
Strong portfolio showcasingexpertisein graphic design, branding, and creative direction.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate creative professionals.
Proficiency indesignsoftware and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as video editing software.
In-depth understanding of brand development, visual identity, and storytelling principles.
Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate business objectivesinto creative strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate creative concepts and ideas.
