About the Job
Autumn Lake Healthcare is seeking an experienced graphic and visual designer to join our growing design team. You will work closely with our Director of Marketing and Senior Leadership on innovative design initiatives along with creating design assets for essential marketing campaigns and programs. This position should feel comfortable balancing creative and technical elements needed as part of the full scope of the design process. The ideal candidate should be able to listen to messages, ideas, and themes and turn them into masterfully stunning designs with customization and creativity. This role is fully remote, but hybrid is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Create effective designs for various marketing collateral, creative and advertising.
• Develop flyers, brochures, web graphics, presentations, and other visually appealing designs.
• Work with print and promotional vendors necessary to the effective rollout of designs.
• Collaborate with project leads to understand objectives and design requirements.
• Produce high-quality graphics that align with project goals and enhance user experience.
• Assist our Director of Marketing and Graphic Designer with any corporate or innovation initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity.
• Assist in the ideation and development of strategic marketing plans from a visual perspective.
• Act as a lead point of contact for cross-functional teams to drive planning and completion.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure high-quality design.
• Own the design process from start to finish, while establishing a polished visual identity
• Effectively organize projects and communicate project updates with clarity.
• Maintain project deliverables and schedules using project management tools.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with deadlines.
• Fill in where and when necessary to accomplish stated objectives.
Desired Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, user experience, visual arts, or related field.
• Proven experience as a graphic designer with a high-quality portfolio
• Expertise in Adobe Suite or another design software.
• Experience using Monday, Asana, or equivalent project management software.
• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity.
• Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and layout techniques.
• Ability to ask questions and articulate design concepts to project leads.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Passionate about design and the future of the industry.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Team Player with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new skills as needed.
• Experience juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Confidence to work independently and within a team environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
• Experience with image manipulation and utilizing AI
• Knowledge in HTML and CSS for designing web assets.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Editorial and storytelling skills.
• Understanding in UX and UI.
• Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools
• Experience with 3D design and CAD
Compensation:
Salary range is $90,000-$120,000 with growth potential. Compensation is competitive and based upon previous experience.
