Senior Creative Copywriter - OPPO US Research Center

Position Overview:

We seek a creative and dynamic Senior Copywriter to join our in-house creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging copy for both long and short-form video content that will be featured on our social media platforms. You will play a crucial role in promoting the OnePlus brand, its devices, and its unique features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write captivating scripts and copy for Android video content, including promotional videos, product demos, tutorials, and social media content.
• Audience Understanding: Develop an in-depth understanding of our target audience and tailor your copy to resonate with them effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative production team, designers, and marketing managers to ensure a cohesive and compelling final product.
• Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest OnePlus and Android features, updates,
  and industry trends to infuse your copy with accurate and compelling information.
• Editing: Review and edit copy to ensure it aligns with our brand voice, messaging guidelines, and social media best practices.
  

Optimization:

Continuously monitor the performance of video content, gather feedback, and make improvements to enhance engagement and reach.

Requirements

Background:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in copywriting for video content, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Expertise in Android devices and a genuine passion for technology is preferred. 
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh and compelling ideas for social.
• Understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SEO and its application in video content.
• Basic understanding of video and content production for social platforms.
• Familiarity with Android OS and Google's suite of products and services.
