Description:Markon is seeking a Cost Estimator to support one of our Intelligence Community Customers
Responsibilities:- Provide cost estimating and life cycle analysis for ongoing and future facility infrastructure programs, projects and O&M services of various sizes and complexity to support Government planning (e.g., Requests for Proposal, Invitations for Bid (IFBs), Task Orders (TOs)). The estimates will vary in fidelity and maturity depending upon where in the acquisition cycle the project resides.
- Prepare detailed Government costs estimates via industry accepted methods, such as RSMeans, for small and large projects that support infrastructure needs in the areas of power, space, and cooling.
- Provide Facility Cost Estimates in UNIFORMAT II and Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) format, and broken at a level to provide detail to support Government planning decisions. (CDRL F012)
- Develop and deliver cost analysis, schedules, market research, and contract data requirements for the purpose of ensuring accurate requirements are enumerated in a biddable manner.
- Review and advice on O&M and A&E Contractor-generated cost estimates and cost proposals.
- Prepare cost estimates for inclusion in acquisition packages.
- Independently create cost engineering templates to be used by the facilities team at NRO sites.
- Review and provide cost revisions of proposed projects for the purpose of ensuring accurate cost data for project competition and Future Year Defense Plan (FYDP) budget formulation.
- Active TS/SCI CIP clearance required
- At least 5+ years of relevant construction estimating experience (IC or DoD a plus)
