Overview Tecolote Research Inc. is seeking a candidate to apply strong cost estimating experience and skills in support of Force Design activities at the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC). * Require bachelor's degree preferably in engineering, business, math, or the sciences. Master's degree is desired.
* Require 8 years of cost estimating and analysis experience supporting commercial, industrial, and/or government sectors (prefer 5 years of which include space experience)
* Prefer cost analysis experience with Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
* Desire Professional Certification in cost estimating such as International Cost Estimating, Analysis Association (ICEAA) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative Act (DAWIA) certification
* Require 5 years of experience using cost estimating software such Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), SEER, and Unison Cost Engineering. Microsoft Excel is acceptable when combined with Crystal Ball
* Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills. The position requires the ability to work independently and in groups, in a fast-paced environment
* Extensive knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, experience developing hardware and software cost estimating relationships and cost methodologies, building cost models, applying inflation, phasing, collecting, and normalizing data, performing detailed risk analysis, and documenting all results Education Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
