Senior Cost Accountant - Ajulia Executive Search

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and analyze gross margins for each product.
• Perform weekly sales reporting and analysis.
• Conduct monthly and weekly pricing and sales trend analysis.
• Manage and update cost and price lists.
• Regularly visit the production floor to understand company processes.
• Provide month-end close reporting by analyzing key metrics.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze return on investment (ROI) for various projects.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or the meat/food industry.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query and Power Pivot are a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong computer skills, including expertise in accounting systems.
• Strong capacity to manage and analyze large datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to complete detail-oriented projects independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Driven, resourceful, and a quick learner with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Must be proficient in reading and writing English.
• Physical ability to step, climb, sit for extended periods, type, and lift as required.
• Comfortable working in a cold, refrigerated environment.
• Willing to travel 20%-25%.
