Senior Corporate Staff Accountant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Corporate Staff Accountant at an asset management co. in Downtown Boston, MA, 02111. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant accounting, general ledger reconciliation and month-end experience.
Will support the Corporate Controller, primary responsibilities include journal entries, general ledger, reconciliations, financial statements, A/P, A/R, audits and month and year-end close.
This is a 6-month role with an opportunity for extension and/or become permanent. 3 days on-site per week.
Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $50.00 (based on relevant work experience)

Responsibilities:
- Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments
- Post daily cash activity
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Bank Statements Reconciliations
- Accounts Payable Reconciliations
- Reconcile General Ledger Accounts Reconciliations
- Financial statement preparation (subsidiary ledgers and identify variances)
- Assist in month-end close responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 4+ years’ experience in general accounting, reconciliation and month end responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
