About the Job
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement corporate operational excellence strategies that drive safety, productivity, cost savings, and overall business performance
- Process Improvement: Identify, assess, and prioritize process inefficiencies across various departments; design and implement solutions using Toyota Production Systems (TPS) and LEAN Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies
- Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of current processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to streamline operations; Understand basic concepts of process design to clearly define responsibilities, connections, inputs/outputs, and how to perform the process
- Leadership & Mentoring: Lead cross-functional teams on improvement projects, providing coaching and mentoring to junior engineers and other team members in continuous improvement principles
- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops on TPS culture and LEAN Six Sigma process improvement tools and techniques to promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to monitor progress, measure the impact of improvement initiatives, and drive decision-making; Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation capital projects (Improving safety, quality, and delivery)
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track and report on the effectiveness of operational excellence initiatives
- Best Practices & Standardization: Establish and disseminate best practices across the organization, standardizing processes where possible and ensuring adherence to operational excellence principles
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering); A Master's degree is preferred
- 10 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a similar role, with significant experience using LEAN Six Sigma tools; Experience with Toyota Production Systems and understanding TPS culture is highly desirable
- LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required; Additional certifications in TPS or other continuous improvement methodologies are a plus
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP a Plus) and Shop Floor Control systems (MES preferred)
- Proven leadership experience is required; Must have shown the ability to influence and drive change across functional groups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving experience resulting in practical and sustainable solutions is required
- Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
