The Senior Pharmacy Engineer (Controls Focus) oversees logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of Electrical control systems of machines, equipment, tools, motors and systems. The Senior Pharmacy Engineer (Controls Focus) work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Pharmacy Controls Engineer ensures maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and industry standards, evaluates Industrial automation equipment and Technology to determine cost effectiveness and efficiency, oversees and implements prescription drug distribution equipment, in an Automated warehouse fulfillment center, (Mail Order Pharmacy) and recommends design modifications to eliminate malfunctions, reduce cost-to-fill, increase throughput and improve quality, performs and leads tests of related software and equipment to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects, and devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Position Information:
+ This Position is located in Westchester, OH.
+ Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, might need work over weekends based on certain planned events.
+ This is mostly an On-site Role, with some opportunities and flexibility for Hybrid work / Home office.
+ Not much travel Required, up to 10 to15%.

Requirements:
+ A four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field recommended at a minimum along with 6+ years of practical hands-on experience.
+ This position will require knowledge and expertise to design electrical circuits and motor controls, using AutoCAD.
+ This work will also require the ability to analyze and mathematically calculate electrical loads of equipment control panels and facility power distribution systems.
+ When necessary, this candidate will be required to review electrical schematics and controls from outside vendors to give approval for construction or make recommendations for changes to meet or internal standards.
+ In addition, the ability to create and modify logic routines in Rockwell Studio 5000 (ladder logic) is nearly essential.
+ Hands on experience working and spec'ing out Rockwell suite of Products. (Safety Products, Point i/O's, Stratix, Armor blocks, etc.).
+ Proficiency on SCADA Development preference for experience in Ignition.
+ Proficient Controls Systems Troubleshooting skills (Software & electrical).
+ Seeking candidates with Industrial Control networks proficiency and knowledge. (Ethernet IP, RS-232, CANbus)
+ Project execution/management experience.
+ Proficient documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience on automated warehouse Conveyor or sortation systems.
+ Panel building, Electrician skills.
+ Advanced techniques used to program PLC logic including Structured Text and use of UDT
+ Working knowledge of . Python, C# , SQL, Power BI.
+ Modbus, Device-Net, RF Tag Reading Systems, IO Link
+ Lean Six sigma training or certification.
+ Cisco Network Certifications. (CCNA)

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$93,000 - $128,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
