Job Responsibilities:
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for automated medical device assembly equipment
- Design and implement PLC software, firmware, and hardware improvements
- Collaborate with OEM engineers to resolve equipment issues
- Optimize HMI, SCADA, MES, and vision inspection systems
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance procedures
- Train technical teams in advanced troubleshooting methods
- Provide expert on-call support for system outages
- Manage control systems and user access security
- Participate in equipment commissioning and validation
- Optimize PID tuning, RFID components, and serial communications
- Work with Automation and Validation Engineers on software/firmware updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 7+ years of experience in high-volume industrial or manufacturing settings
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and HMI/GUI systems
- Expertise in RSLogix5000, Logix Designer, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk SE, Ignition, and Cognex vision systems
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with factory LAN/WAN Ethernet networks and field bus systems
Salary: $110,000-$130,000
