About the Job
Maximus is currently hiring for a Senior Contracts & Compliance Analyst to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Senior Contracts & Compliance Analyst is responsible for leading the analysis of contract issues, develop solutions, draft contract documents, and review Service Level Agreements for compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of Contract issues and develop solutions.
- Draft Contract documents.
- Review Service Level Agreements for Compliance.
- Lead the tracking of project requirements through the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Review contract discrepancies and act as the liaison to the Customer Contract Office.
- Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure that requirements are consistent and applicable.
- Prepare and interpret requirements management specifications for all contracts.
- Assess vendors for compliance with company standards and manage ongoing compliance of existing vendors throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Conduct regular contract audits to identify areas of non-compliance, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
- Proactively identify potential compliance issues within contracts and work with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve them.
- Maintain a system to track contract key dates, performance metrics, and compliance status, generating reports for management oversight.
- Collaborate with legal teams, procurement departments, and business units to ensure understanding of contract terms and compliance expectations.
- Participate in the change management process to ensure requirements changes and impact assessments are being performed by contractors.
- Working with stakeholders: Working with multiple stakeholders to ensure that requirements are consistent and applicable
- Preparing and interpreting specifications: Preparing and interpreting requirements management specifications for all contracts
- Participating in change management: Participating in the change management process to ensure requirements change impact assessment being performed by contractors
- Assessing vendors for compliance with company standards and managing ongoing compliance of existing vendors throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Conducting regular contract audits to identify areas of non-compliance, potential risks, and areas for improvement
- Proactively identifying potential compliance issues within contracts and working with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve them.
- Maintaining a system to track contract key dates, performance metrics, and compliance status, generating reports for management oversight
- Collaborating with legal teams, procurement departments, and business units to ensure understanding of contract terms and compliance expectations.
- Strong analytical skills to identify potential compliance risks within contracts
- Detail-oriented approach to review complex contract terms and conditions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Up to 25% work travel to Houston, TX required

- USB plug and play wired headset with a microphone and noise suppression
- Private work area and adequate power source
- A second monitor is highly recommended for most positions
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requirements Traceability Matrix experience (RTM) highly preferred

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
