Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy Development: Lead the creation of content strategies aligned with Cotton’s business goals, designing initiatives that engage audiences and amplify Cotton’s brand and its subsidiaries.
• Content Creation & Production: Produce high-quality, compelling content for a range of mediums—landing pages, blogs, emails, social media, scripts, marketing collateral, and display ads.
• Digital Engagement: Stay at the forefront of B2B content marketing trends, infusing innovative ideas into campaigns to drive engagement and brand awareness.
• Thought Leadership: Partner with Subject Matter Experts to create thought-provoking materials like white papers, blog posts, and infographics that position Cotton as a market leader.
• SEO & Web Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content for enhanced search engine visibility and increased web traffic.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery, often within tight deadlines.
• Collaborative Campaign Execution: Work cross-functionally with the Marketing and Business Development teams, as well as external agencies, to produce and execute comprehensive content marketing campaigns.
• Mentorship: Serve as a content resource, providing guidance to junior team members, offering feedback, and ensuring content aligns with brand voice and marketing objectives.
• Audience Targeting & Brand Consistency: Tailor content for diverse audience segments, while maintaining Cotton’s brand integrity and guidelines.
• Performance Analysis: Track and analyze content performance metrics, refining strategies to maximize engagement and campaign effectiveness.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience: 5-7 years in content creation, copywriting, or related fields with a track record of leading successful content strategies and impactful marketing campaigns.
• Content Mastery: Expertise in crafting content for digital, print, and broadcast channels; agency experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong background in content strategy, SEO, and metrics-driven decision-making to drive organic traffic and conversions.
• Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead content projects from concept to completion.
• Team Collaboration: Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve goals.

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot based on changing priorities.
• Analytical & Storytelling Ability: Proficiency in using metrics to inform decisions and tell a compelling brand story.
• Editing & Proofreading: High attention to detail with an eye for consistency and quality.
• Tools: Knowledge of Windows and Mac platforms, Microsoft programs, Google Drive, Hootsuite, CMS platforms, and familiarity with AP style.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
