About the Job
The Senior Consultant - Engagement Manager leads the successful delivery of projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and the achievement of Tricentis Service's business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Leads the delivery team throughout the engagement, often in collaboration with a services partner.
Manages the engagement governance, timeline, scope, risk, change management, resourcing, reporting, and financials.
Collaborates with the Account Team, partner, and customer to understand the customer and the engagement; including business challenges, key stakeholders, issues, and business value being delivered.
Understands Tricentis and customer business objectives and aligns the deliverables accordingly.
Acts as a thought leader, applying expertise from the Tricentis delivery methodology and prescriptive guidance to drive successful delivery of the engagement, including long-term customer success.
During an implementation, communicates and acts as the single point of contact to facilitate collaboration, decision-making, and customer buy-in on proposed solutions.
Coaches, mentors, and manages Tricentis and/or partner team members to achieve the engagement’s deliverables and enable the customer’s desired business outcomes.
Typically manages multiple projects simultaneously.
Leads the delivery team throughout large complex engagements, often in collaboration with a services partner.
Identifies gaps between project financial, schedule, and deliverable actuals and the plan of record, proposing solutions and driving resolutions.
Creates and manages internal and partner resource allocation and time entry for assigned projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8-10 years of high-tech/SaaS industry experience
5+ years in Customer Engagement roles
Strong cross-functional, technical Project Management experience including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and stakeholder reporting
Demonstrated experience in leading key projects, including strategic customer programs from inception to successful roll-out and beyond
Strong documentation and presentation skills including creative thinking and willingness to work hands-on to deliver impactful outcomes
Experience with analytics and understanding of metrics and KPIs (as defined)
Thought leadership and strategic thinking
Ability to gather and analyze data to understand the pros and cons of different decisions and options
Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Facilitation skills in leading and planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
Strong customer orientation and an innate ability to anticipate and act
Active listening skills to ensure feedback drives new initiatives and identifies areas of improvement
Ability to learn quickly and pick up tools, systems, and processes in a short amount of time
Critical thinking skills, and the ability to assimilate and implement new information rapidly and think strategically
Prior experience with implementing or supporting Tricentis products – preferred
BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline – preferred
PMI Certification – preferred
Occasional travel (up to 50%)
Public Sector Qualifications (nice to have):
US Citizenship required with no dual US Citizenship exceptions.
Familiarity and experience in managing technical solution implementation projects working with Public Sector organizations or agencies (Federal and/or SLED)
Experience in federal government contract sales lifecycle and knowledge.
Strong relationships with small and large system integrators in the federal government contracting area.
Have the ability to or currently hold a TS or TS/SCI Security clearance.
