Mission:
As a Senior Project Manager with SCM you will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of multiple construction projects; as well as mentoring and managing Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents. If you are highly technical, a strong communicator, and have the desire to work in a supportive team environment you will excel in this position with SCM.
Results:
- Successfully deliver projects at, or below, contracted completion budgets and schedules.
- Meet or exceed company and project safety and quality performance metrics.
- As the project lead, maintain and promote SCM’s NPS with all stakeholders.
Requirements
Main Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise the work of project managers, project engineers, field engineers, and project superintendents to execute project priorities.
- Manage project manager responsibilities while supporting other team members on multiple projects.
- Provide jobsite leadership in safety and quality.
- Maintain exemplary relationships with owners, subcontractors, and design consultants.
- Mentor and coach team members and contribute to their growth as leaders within SCM.
- Coordinate and support pre-construction efforts as a senior specialist on the project execution team.
- Support and own monthly progress, financial health, cost, and schedule reporting.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university or college, preferably with a major in construction management or engineering.
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager responsible for the execution of commercial construction projects with a project value of $10mm or more.
- Project experience and proven execution includes base building construction types where design included MEP, Life Safety, Elevator, and circulation elements.
- Experience managing and leading a project team made up of superintendents and engineers.
- Proficient with Procore and industry standard project tools like MS Project, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.
- Ability to travel at a minimum once a month to support project requirements.

- Competitive base salary: Full-time salaried position: $120,000 - $130,000 per year.
