Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager with a primary focus in supporting the Director of Logistics (DOL) with space planning, move management, renovations, and construction project management for our Fairfax, VA headquarters and other office locations across the United States. The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, project management experience, ability to read plans, understanding of base building systems, ability to handle multiple projects, be proactive, and take initiative.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement all phases of relocation and construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop project plans/budgets for renovation, construction, and relocation projects.
- Contract and manage consultants for design, construction, and FF&E.
- Review AIA contracts and payment application documentation.
- Review and comment on construction plans and submittals.
- POC for day to day issues related to the design and construction of approved projects.
- Ensure completion of construction in accordance with the project plan/budget.
- Create and maintain project files including but not limited to:
- Project schedules
- Construction and Furniture plans
- Submittals
- Permits
- As-builts
- Project completion manuals
- AIA documentation and procurement applications
- Develop space plans for office reconfigurations, expansions, and relocations.
- Review and manage all furniture purchases. This includes educating employees on corporate standards, approving requisitions, facilitating the purchase, coordinating delivery, confirming product received, and processing invoices for payment approval.
- Manage office moves and relocations.
- Responsible for exterior/interior building signage and name plates.
- Assist DOL with other daily tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Ability to work M-F (8am - 5pm).
- Ability to work after hours to support office relocations and construction projects.
- Ability to travel for office relocations and construction projects.
- Ability to review and understand construction plans, specifications, and submittals.
- Understanding of base building systems to include structural, waterproofing, roofing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
- 5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in managing projects.
- Proficient in Bluebeam and CADD. Must be able to develop space layouts and furniture plans.
- Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel & Access) are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill are required.
- Excellent time management skills required.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
