Job Details
~ A DAY IN YOUR LIFE ~
PLEASE APPLY IF YOU HAVE COMMERCIAL TENANT IMPROVEMENT EXPERIENCE
● Leadership Skills: Provide strong on-site leadership, coordinating and supervising construction teams to ensure safety protocols and regulations are adhered to.
● Logistics Management: Coordinate logistics, including material deliveries, container management, equipment usage, and workforce deployment.
● Vendor and Subcontractor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors
● Travel Requirements: Frequent travel around the country to oversee and manage construction projects in various locations. Project durations 3-4 months.
● Reporting and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for construction projects and provide daily reports, percentage of completion, progress photos, inventory quantity verification, field-labor hours etc., to support successful monitoring and tracking of each project. This will primarily be executed through the company provided Project Management Software.
● Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments such as Design and Purchasing to ensure construction activities align with overall business objectives.
● Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues that arise during construction projects, ensuring minimal impact on timelines and budgets.
● Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
~ WHAT YOU MUST BRING TO THE TEAM ~
● 5 to 7 years of experience in construction field management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects on time and within budget
● Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus
● Extensive experience in on-site construction leadership roles.
● Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building code.
● Ability to adapt to different project environments and travel frequently.
● Familiarity with construction management software and MS Office.
● Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in construction practices.
