About the Job
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts for production and new product development.
- Collaborate across departments to improve design, manufacturability, and product reliability.
- Oversee technical input for structural and subsystem analysis of metallic and composite parts.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and other regulations (ISO, ITAR, DFAR).
- Coordinate schedules, vendor relations, and reporting on manufacturing projects.
- Promote continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles.
- Provide leadership in solving complex technical issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience
- 10+ years in aerospace manufacturing.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in GD&T, CATIA, MRP/ERP systems, and MS Office.
- Knowledge
- Aircraft systems, AS9100, ISO standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Soft Skills
- Leadership, critical thinking, project management, and communication.
- Preferred
- Familiarity with CATIA, ISO, ITAR, and DFAR.
