The Senior Community Management Professional cultivates the organization's social community through community advocacy programs and active engagement with community members. The Senior Community Management Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Community Management Professional position will assist the Community Engagement Lead in developing an outreach strategy to our providers, community partners and stakeholders. They will serve as the face and voice of our brand and manage community communications and relationships. They will be responsible for building community partnerships as well as focusing on building our organic growth (new membership and retention of current membership).
This position will assist in the development of market leading provider and community engagement to forge strong external relationships. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
This is an external and internal facing role.
+ Responsible for assisting with the planning, development and implementation of outreach strategies both internally and externally to increase awareness and branding and grow Humana’s SC Medicaid market share
+ Implement and continually update overall strategies for Medicaid product offering to maximize product growth, member retention, innovation and member and provider experience
+ Assist with driving smart growth in membership and market share in designated market by developing solid relationships across all key functional areas (Network, marketing, clinical, quality, finance)
+ Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in effectiveness, community impact and other areas which positively impact outreach, enrollment and retention
+ Cultivates the organization's social community through community advocacy programs and active engagement with community providers and members
+ Partner with local and key functional teams to assure appropriate health plan benefit design and value-added services
+ Formulate impactful relationships that drive engagement with community-based organizations, health care organizations, community centers, non-profit organizations and faith-based organizations
+ Implement provider engagement strategies in partnership with network and quality partners that specifically focuses on membership growth and retention
+ Partner with our marketing department to develop and execute successful marketing, sponsorship and outreach strategies
+ Serve as a community liaison and represent Humana at State meetings, community events, and with our provider network
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements and established service levels

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Minimum 3 years of experience with developing and deploying marketing/growth strategies
+ Working knowledge building relationships and promoting brand awareness with external community partners, state organizations, leaders, providers, advocacy groups, and/or government affiliates.
+ Strategizes methods to scale communities and drive greater connections and engagement with Medicaid members.
+ Proficiency using MS Office, navigating multiple systems and platforms and ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical difficulties in a remote environment.
+ Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in Government Programs (Medicaid, Medicare, etc.)
+ Bilingual English/Spanish - Any Humana employee who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Required Location: 60-mile radius Charleston South Carolina
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00 PM Eastern, and willingness to work weekends as needed to attend community events and outreach
Travel: 30-40% travel as needed to attend community events and outreach
Work-At-Home Requirements
+ Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
+ A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$65,000 - $88,600 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
