We are looking for a Senior Communications Manager that has a passion for customer-centric experiences, innovation, and collaboration. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of communications at Microsoft by driving the adoption and optimization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation tools that can empower our communicators to deliver more personalized, timely, and effective messages. You'll also have the chance to share and learn from best practices and experiences with other communications teams and agencies.
In this role, you'll join the Community, Operations and Experiences team -part of the Communications Strategy Team who are responsible for building and executing the tools, resources and programming that support the work of the Communications organization. This includes building new AI tools, managing operations, creating and executing events both internally and externally and more. You'll work closely with various teams within the Communications organization to understand their needs for AI and automation tools that can enhance their communications capabilities and outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
+ Establish relationships with key stakeholders within the Communications organization to understand their communications needs and challenges, andidentify opportunities for AI and automation solutions.
+ Partner with the Communications Community, Operations and Experiences (COE) team to provide input and feedback on the development and delivery of AI and automation tools and resources for the communications community.
+ Develop and implement best practices and guidelines for using AI and automation tools in communications and provide training and support to the communications teams and agencies.
+ Monitor and measure the impact and effectiveness of AI and automation tools in communications and provide insights and recommendations for improvement and innovation.
+ Help others succeed and build on the work of others to strengthen our inclusive culture that is focused on empowerment, empathy, diversity.
+ Have a special projects remit that will occupy up to 25% of the time - adapting to incoming projects that span functions of the Communications Strategy Team as thus may cover events, technology, creative execution and more.
**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in communications, public relations, or related fields
+ Knowledge and interest in AI and automation technologies and trends
+ Experience in developing and executing customer-centric and data-driven communications strategies and campaigns
+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for different audiences and channels
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and actions
+ Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively across different functions, levels, and cultures
+ Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
+ Understanding of Microsoft products and services, and the landscape
Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
