Senior Commercial Lending Officer at A-Line Staffing Solutions

SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Lending Officer to join our growing team. This role is instrumental in expanding our commercial loan portfolio, focusing on commercial real estate, small business, and commercial and industrial lending. The ideal candidate will build strong community relationships, collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product delivery, and maintain compliance while managing credit risks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide guidance on credit information, loan policies, and procedures to ensure the quality of the loan portfolio.
• Review and approve or decline complex loans before submission to the Loan Committee.
• Oversee credit administration to develop quality loan relationships that promote profitability and portfolio growth.
• Ensure the safety and soundness of the lending portfolio.
• Set growth goals for loan volume and provide direction to lending teams.
• Prepare and distribute credit reports on loan quality, growth trends, and product concentrations.
• Present loan information to the Board of Directors for approval.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in commercial credit, including real estate, small business, and commercial and industrial lending.
• Familiarity with community development programs, such as affordable housing and tax credit initiatives, is preferred.
• At least 10 years of related experience and 5 years of management experience in credit administration.
• Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to connect across organizational levels.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule (onsite and remote).
