Senior Collector/Hybrid

PRIMARY PURPOSE:  To collect the maximum amount of overdue funds from higher volume accounts and to ensure discrepancies with customer accounts are resolved.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides customer service regarding collections issues.
• Processes customer refunds and credit memos.
• Monitors and maintain assigned accounts.
• Performs account adjustments, small balance write-offs, and customer reconciliations.
• Reconciles client discrepancies pertaining to outstanding balances.
• Communicates and serves as an interface with internal and external customers.
• Prepares weekly and monthly reporting and presents data to management.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality program(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in business from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience
Three (3) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Collections experience a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ( 19.57 - 27.40 - 35.22 USD Hourly). A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.

Work environment requirements for entry-level opportunities include –
