Job Description:
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our web applications and cloud infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Engineering Security and Compliance, you will utilize your expertise in cloud security to ensure the integrity and security of our systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing cloud security architecture, automating security controls, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance our security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud security architecture using zero-trust principles.
Automate security controls and processes using security-as-code methodologies.
Configure network security in hybrid cloud environments.
Conduct threat modeling and assess application migration efforts.
Develop and implement security compliance measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall application security.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Information Security.
Minimum 4 years of experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
Proficiency in networking protocols and cloud technologies.
Hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
Familiarity with industry compliance standards (SOX, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated security testing.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Contributions to the security community (open source projects, research papers, etc.).
