Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Seeking a strong engineer to provide expertise for the engineering and design of cloud environments. Develop cloud solutions and implementing service models - public (AWS, Azure), private, or hybrid cloud solutions - compatible with end-user needs. You will act as a technical resource across a vast array of infrastructure products and initiatives, own the solutions architecture, engineering, and operations, and design and operate the infrastructure and configuration of applications with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code.

Duties:

Lead the design, build, implementation, and delivery of AWS and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service.

Maintain a highly secure system through proper security practices to ensure security and regulatory compliance requirements are met.

Communicate architecture guidelines and technical details to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

Expert knowledge of AWS and Azure implementations

Experience implementing cloud security solutions including role-based access, access management, identity and directory infrastructure, and Azure security center.

Strong Network & Firewall troubleshooting and Cloud Networking Design and implementation ability

AWS certification preferred

Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in cloud engineering

Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a large IT environment in support of IT service and business processes, with proven track record of driving large-scale changes

Bachelor's degree preferred, with a major in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience in computer science

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.

Permanent placed employees
