What you'll be doing:
- Building and maintaining automation tooling and pipelines that enable secured systems to be deployed across a variety of environments, including public/private cloud, virtual machines, or bare metal servers.
- Developing automation to standardize and secure cloud services such as server operating system builds, including Windows and Linux, that are compliant with enterprise standards and security policy.
- Developing, deploying, and maintaining Cloud infrastructure and applications as code for a global agency supporting security monitoring and big data
- Solving challenging problems involving system and environment internals, to provide solutions that are simple to use, but can be customized to meet customer needs.
- Work with customer and end users to determine migration path for existing tools and services, guiding future enterprise capabilities.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to test build releases and ensure builds provide a consistent core foundation for hosting government and commercial applications.
- Supporting technologies and products, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, RedHat Linux, CentOS, Saltstack, Terraform, Git, GitOps, Python
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience
- 14 years of relevant experience.
- Top Secret clearance
- A strong desire to learn!
Desired Qualifications:
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or equivalent) certification
- Active Cloud Certifications
- Basic Level
- Pro Level
- Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain an SCI and CI poly
- Desired experience with following tools and products: PowerShell, Python, Javascript, Terraform, Saltstack, Ansible, Docker, Git, Jenkins, Travis-CI, Azure Pipelines, CodeBuild
- PowerShell Cloud modules a plus (Azure RM, Az)
- Desired experience with practices and concepts: DevSecOps, GitOps, ConfigOps, Configuration as Code, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Declarative Programming, Event-driven Architectures/Pipelines
- Experience with Cloud command line tools (Azure CLI, AWS CLI) a plus.
