Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position Summary
The Senior Clinical Director - Integrated Health Services will oversee behavioral health services provided at Aspire Indiana Health’s outpatient clinic sites. Such services include individual, group, and family therapies; behavioral health interventions targeted toward addressing and improving medical conditions; brief and solution-focused treatment. The individual in this position works collaboratively and effectively with other service lines within the outpatient settings, such as primary care, psychiatry, nursing, and substance use services. This position will have multiple direct reports that are in leadership positions, such as directors and clinical managers, and will directly report to the Senior Vice President of Integrated Health Services. The focus of this role is to ensure that the clinical services provided at the outpatient clinics is of the highest quality, consistent across service locations, is meeting the needs of the community, and is sufficient in meeting the fiscal expectations to ensure sustainability.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and direction for moderate level of need clinical services provided at all Aspire Indiana’s outpatient sites
- Responsible for the efficiency and appropriateness of coordination of care for behavioral health patients and clients, within the integrated health continuum, at all outpatient sites
- Ensure best practice and industry standard models of care are consistently used across all assigned service lines and locations
- Meet Key Performance Indicators for assigned service lines and provide regular updates to leadership and clinical staff
- Collaborate with other Senior Directors, as well as other members of Aspire leadership, to work through, and/or ensure an understanding of, different initiatives or strategies for designated service lines
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, respect and professionalism
- Collaborate in workforce planning with leadership in regards to staffing needs, recruiting efforts, selection and placement of new clinical staff
- Participate in ongoing performance management and professional development opportunities
- Mentor direct reports, emphasizing teaching skills to improve and expand on their existing clinical and leadership abilities
- Represent Aspire Indiana Health in the different service communities by attending community events and participating in community workgroups or committees, as assigned
Education/Experience
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a directly-related human service field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required
- Five (5) years related work experience required, including clinically supervising staff
- Experience with MRO and Recovery Works programming a plus
- Knowledge and application of utilizing social service systems (Medicaid, Social Security, Corrections, etc) highly preferred
- Community Mental Health and Federally Qualified Health Center experience highly preferred
Licensure
- Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana
